Mary’s Story

Mary Fashanu is the Founder of The Limitless Conference (TLC), an annual experience created to equip, empower and support professionals and individuals to become limitless and live limitless lives. But TLC is more than a conference. It is a reflection of Mary's life, faith and life's work.
Mary is passionate about empowering women and helping people recognise who they are, understand what is possible and develop the courage, confidence and capacity to pursue it. Through her work as a strategist, consultant, speaker, teacher, author and community builder, Mary has spent years helping individuals and organisations grow. She has built businesses, created communities, developed leaders and opened doors for others to step into greater levels of purpose, leadership and impact.
At the heart of this work is one conviction: we are often capable of far more than the limits we have accepted.
Mary understands that living a limitless life does not mean living a life without challenges. It means refusing to allow fear, circumstances, past experiences, other people's expectations, self-doubt or perceived limitations to have the final word over your life. It means learning to see possibility where others may only see obstacles. It means having the courage to grow. To take up space. To use your voice. To pursue your purpose. To build what you have been called to build. And to become the person you were created to be.
A Woman Living the Message
Mary doesn't simply speak about living a limitless life. She is committed to living it. Her own journey has been one of continually stepping beyond what is familiar and expected, embracing new opportunities, building from the ground up, taking risks, navigating challenges and continually becoming. From entrepreneurship and leadership to community development, consulting, speaking, teaching and ministry, Mary has built a life around using what she has been given to create impact and make room for others.
Her journey has not been without challenges. But those challenges have strengthened her conviction that your circumstances may be part of your story, but they do not have to define its ending.
Mary's faith is central to this belief. Anchored in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," she carries a deep-seated belief that with God, all things are truly possible.
Empowering Women
A significant part of Mary's life's work is empowering women to recognise that they are made for more. Through her wider work and community initiatives, she creates spaces where women can develop their confidence, leadership, businesses, careers, voices and capacity.
Mary believes that when women are equipped and empowered, the impact extends far beyond the individual. It reaches families. Workplaces. Businesses. Communities. And future generations. Her desire is not simply to see women achieve more, it is to see women become more whole, confident, purposeful, courageous and intentional about the lives they are building.
The Vision Behind TLC
Mary's vision for The Limitless Conference extends far beyond one day each year. She is building an environment and community where people can continually encounter possibility, growth, connection and support. Because living a limitless life is not a one-day decision. It is a journey. And nobody should have to walk that journey alone.
Through TLC, Mary wants people to leave not only inspired, but equipped with knowledge, empowered with confidence and supported by community, asking better questions: Who am I? What have I allowed to limit me? What is possible for me? What is my next step? And perhaps most importantly: what would my life look like if I stopped living beneath what is possible?
